Can big data be queered?
Can the queer archive be data mined?
Six queer performers undertake an embodied investigation of a dataset of queer histories and artifacts, sourced from prominent queer archives around the United States and Canada. Algorithms and strategies of data collection and categorization are transformed into physical scores. Information and affect travels between archival storage and the living body.
Performed by Sowmya A., Jamison Edgar, Philip Wesley Gates, Ty Greenwood, Summer Jade Leavitt, and Janine Paulson.
